Sweet Breadcrumbs Club fam, we've been horrified of the atrocities committed against the Asian American and Pacific Islander community. This is a problem that has unfortunately been a reality in our AAPI communities for generations, but has exponentially escalated in the past year.
As proud members of the AAPI community, we believe that turning our heads and staying quiet is just as damaging as committing the crime itself and we will not stay silent.
We have been actively listening, learning, attending rallies to bring awareness and solidarity to our people and populations beyond our own. @loafthepup and his best friend @hiccup_SF attended a few rallies proudly wearing signs of their own to advocate for justice for AAPI lives.
Since those rallies, they've accidentally become overnight icons of revolution and have been featured on Nextshark, Mercury News, Dogspotting Society, and more.
I drew these pups as a sweet reminder to stand up against racism and injustice no matter how big or little you feel. Now you can have a physical reminder of your own too.
